IPSAC Vietnam Scholarship Program

The goal of the IPSAC-VN International Scholar Program is to enhance the quality of health care in Vietnam by providing licensed or in-training physicians, nurses and allied medical personnel with individually tailored education at an ACGME-accredited US medical institution.

The awards in the amount of $2,500 will be administered by IPSAC-VN toward travel, room and board and educational expenses for the scholar to spend 1-2 months in observation of US clinical practices or in translational research training at the host institution.

The scholar must have a good command of English and have a letter from their home institution affirming the scholars' commitment to enhancing the quality of health care delivery of their home institution. The certificate is not applicable toward US licensing, or toward application for US residency or fellowship programs. At the completion of the program, scholars will receive a certificate from IPSAC-VN and from the host medical institution acknowledging the scholar participation in the program. All scholars are required to return to their original institution in VN at the completion of the program. They are also expected tomake a presentation to the donors of their US experiences and of practices which they will implement to enhance or transform patient care in Vietnam.
